September 1st Results  

     The Music City Motorplex NASCAR Dodge Weekly Racing Series 2006 season wrapped up on September 1st in Nashville, TN. Jess finished off the season 4th in the points chase with a strong 3rd place showing!

    At the drop of the green flag, Jess Williams quickly moved up from his fifth place starting spot to third. There he settled in behind Tommy Climmer and John Earheart. Climmer fell by the way side with mechanical problems. Earheart and Williams ran nose to tail for most of the race. Until, the Ronnie Campbell entry got by both Earheart and Williams to take the lead. After a green, white, and checker, Williams would take a look to the inside of Earheart but would have to settle for third place. That third place finish vaulted Jess from 5th to 4th in points, only two points out of 3rd.
